FOR BHP, TORQUE, SPEED ANALYSIS OF ENGINES, MOTORS OR ANY ROTATING MACHINERY
IEICOS Microcontroller Based Digital Dynamometer System provides digital read out of BHP, Torque, Speed. Shaft power is indicated directly in digital display, using both Torque and Speed information which are also displayed. Torque and Speed are measured with IEICOS Torque Sensor and Speed Sensor. Since both Torque and Speed are obtained, they can be multiplied to provide resultant shaft power.
BHP (metric) = 2πNT/4500,
where T is Torque in Kgm and N is Speed in RPM.
Simultaneous Torque and Speed analog output signals can be provided for feeding into recorders or oscilloscopes. Computer Interface can be provided for logging data to computer and off-line analysis.
WLoading arrangements for Engine/Motor being tested is normally done using Eddy Current Dynamometer or D.C. Generator with resistive load Bank or AC Alternator. For Motor Testing Digital Voltage, Current and Power Meters for Armature
