(2) plate fixed as cantilever
(3) specimen subjected to torsion
Comprises:
a) A specimen subjected to Tension by application of weight.
b) A Plate fixed as a single ended cantilever and subjected to loading application of weight.
c) A Strain gauge bonded shaft subjected to Torsion by provided of a fulcrum arm and weights.
d) A set of 10 Weights to Load the above setup one at a time in steps of 100gms.
e) A Single Channel Digital Strain Indicator to measure Strain sensed by the strain gauges.
Thus with the knowledge of Load supplied and Strain produced, with the details of the demonstration the Elastic Constants can be determined.
