LEVEL MEASUREMENT DEMONSTRATION SYSTEM – MODEL ML17

A) Capacitive type

Comprises:
a) A Variable Capacitive sensor which senses the level of water.
b) An experimental tank where water is filled so as to measure level of water.
c) A Level Gauge consisting of a scale and a tube to know actual level of water.
d) A Signal Conditioning unit comprising of a panel meter to read level of water and Transfer & Transmitter to provide 4-20m A output.
e) A Graph of Actual Level to the level indicated by the panel meter can be drawn.

B) Optical Discrete Type
Comprises:
a) A set of optical sensors mounted at low level and high level
b) An experimental water tube where water is filled so as to measure level of water.
c) A Level Gauge consisting of a scale and a tube to know actual level of water.
d) A Signal Conditioning unit comprising of a panel meter to indicate the level of water in the tube

C) Magnetic Discrete Type
Comprises:
a) A set of magnetic sensors mounted at low level and high level
b) An experimental water tube where water is filled so as to measure level of water.
c) A Level Gauge consisting of a scale and a tube to know actual level of water.
d) A Signal conditioning unit comprising of a panel meter to indicate the level of water in the tube

D) Pressure Measurement Method

Comprises:
a) A pressure sensor mounted at the bottom of the tank to measure the pressure exerted by the water above it.
b) An experimental water tank where water is filled so as to measure level of water.
c) A Level Gauge consisting of a scale and a tube to know actual level of water.
d) A Signal Conditioning unit comprising of a digital panel meter to indicate the level of water in the tube
