IEICOS Heat Transfer in Vacuum Apparatus is designed to conduct experiment and to study the heat transfer in vacuum.
Comprises of:
a) Test Section: Diameter - 40 mm dia copper, Length-400 mm,
b) Band heater – 500 watts.
c) Measuring Instruments:
i. Digital Voltmeter (Range-0 to 300 V),
ii. Digital Ammeter (Range – 0 to 10 Amps),
iii. Digital Temp. Indicator with Selector Switch (Ambient to 199.9 deg c)
iv. Thermocouples : Type-Cr.Al, Length-1 Mtr
d) Dimmerstat: Range – 0 to 220 volts Ac.,
e) Vacuum Pump: Capacity – 50 lpm,
f) Vacuum gauge – 0 to 760 mm of Hg,
g) ¼” Hand shut of valve
