| OPTICAL PYROMETER WITH TEMPERATURE SOURCE

Comprises:
a) An Optical Pyrometer based on sensing of Temperature by infrared emission. A Panel Meter with Signal Conditioning unit to indicate Temperature is provided.
b) A Temperature source consisting of bulbs of different wattages i.e. 40, 60 & 100W.
c) The above infrared pyrometer and the bulb holder is mounted in a wooden enclosure provided with a glass window. Different bulbs can be mounted on the holder one after the other.
d) The bulbs are operated on 230V & are provided with a variable control to vary the current through the filament. Hence the heating of the filament varies. & thus its temperature.
e) The Temperature of the filament in the bulb is indicated by the optical infrared Pyrometer.
f) The readings for different position of the current control knob & the Temperature can be tabulated.
