IEICOS Thermal Conductivity of Metal Rod Apparatus is designed to conduct experiment and to study the thermal conductivity of metal rod.

Comprises of
:

a) Heating Section of copper 25 x 50 mm length (approx.)
b) Thermal Insulation for bar of Nylon - 70 mm Dia.
c) Cooling chamber 25 mm dia , 50 mm length.
d) Sample test specimen 25 Dia X 30 mm L with Nylon insulation.
e) Control Panel Comprising of Panelized electrical instruments.
1. Digital Voltmeter,
2. Digital Ammeter,
3. Dimmerstat : 0- 230 volts , 2 A.
4. Digital Temperature indicator 0-300 with1 deg L.C. using Cr-Al (K-Type) thermocouples, cold junction compensation. Nine thermocouples on bar at equidistant points.
f) Sample test piece of Brass / Aluminum / M.S.
g) Side clamps for holding test specimen both heating and cooling chamber.
h) Heater- 400 watts (Cartridge Type) 12.5 Dia x 50 mm L.
